Superstar Rajinikanth should have raised his voice against those in Karnataka, who condemned Tamil actor Sathyaraj and stopped the release of his film, Municipal Administration Minister S P Velumani said today.

Joining issue with Rajinikanth on his remarks against the AIADMK government during address to his fans, Velumani told mediapersons that law and order was well maintained in the State and better than many in the country.

Objecting to the remarks of Rajinikanth against the government, he said Rajiinikanth needed to explain why he did not raise his voice when a group of people in Karnataka threatened to prevent the release of his block-buster film.
