Mother seeks restoration of kidnapped daughter

Police are on the look out for a girl in her teens, who was reportedly kidnapped by a youth on the promise of marrying her in Valparai in the district.
In her complaint lodged with the police, Vasanthi said that her daughter, a first year student of Government College at Valparai, did not return home yesterday.
Enquiries in the neighbourhood revealed that one Raja had taken her on the promise of marrying her. Vasanthi appealed to the police to trace her daughter.
Police are on the look out for the duo.
