Mystery surrounds death of security guard

Tirupur: A security guard in a private banyan factory near Tirupur, was found dead on the factory premises today, with bleeding injuries.

Suspecting foul play in the death, the relatives of the deceased staged a protest in front of the Government Hospital. Tension prevailed, with the relatives blaming the factory management for the death.

46-year-old Murthy was working a security guard in the factory in Angeripalayam. He was found dead with bleeding injuries on the body. On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem, to the Government Hospital in Tirupur.

On hearing about the incident, family and relatives rushed to the hospital and staged picketing in front of the hospital gate, seeking immediate action against the management for the death.
