Nadigar Sangam executive committee meeting tomorrow

With just a couple of weeks left for the general council meeting of the Nadigar Sangam, a crucial meeting of office-bearers has been convened tomorrow to discuss several important issues.
“The executive committee meeting will be convened tomorrow at 10 a.m and it will be presided over by its president Nasser,” sources said.
Among other issues, the construction of a building at Nadigar Sangam grounds will be discussed. Plans are on to commence work in January. The meeting will also discuss about the notices issued to former office-bearers for alleged irregularities during their tenure.
The general secretary of the association, Vishal, will be present. The meeting is also expected to discuss on the resolutions to be passed at the general council meeting on November 27.
Besides honouring veteran artistes, the Sangam is planning a grand function to felicitate Kamal Haasan for being honoured with the prestigious Chevalier Award by the French Government.
