National conclave of young Indians in December

The 28th National Youth Enclave, organised by Young Indians (Yi), will be held here from December 16.

Over 500 delegates from across the country will participate in the three day event, Blitz, which aims to bring together thought leaders. The theme of the enclave is ‘Energy’, a reflection of the spirit of the youth of India.

The conclave, the flagship event of Yi, provides an opportunity for members to converge on a common platform to network and discuss topics important to the development of the country as Yi has about 13,000 members across 40 chapters in 27 states, Yi former national chairman, Shankar Vanavarayar told reporters here today. The members comprise entrepreneurs, corporate professionals and young achievers from different walks of life, he said.

The conclave will have a mix of sports activities, speakers from business, sports, industry, media, politics, entrepreneurship, science and technology, innovation, diversity and social purpose. Prominent speakers include the Apollo Hospitals chairperson Shobana Kammineni, Arvind Hospital chairman, Namperumalsamy, visual artists Thukral and Tagra and Zeus Caps managing partner Shaurya Doval, said Vanavarayar.

Yi is a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry.
