National Human Rights Organization sends relief

The National Human Rights Organization of Coimbatore has sent relief materials to Chennai with the help of the Coimbatore Press Club here on Wednesday.

According to V.K.Subramaniam, President of the National Human Rights Organization, the organisation has sent a truck load of items including bread, biscuits, rice, dresses for men, women and children, blankets, cooking vessels and water bottles to Chennai.

“The relief articles are worth more than Rs. 1 lakh and would be handed over to the persons there by the members of the Coimbatore Press Club,” he said.

He further added that relief articles have been contributed by members of the organization and general public.
