Students of Government Arts college boycotted the classes for the second consecutive day on Wednesday and observed a sit-in dharna inside the campus demanding exemption for Tamil Nadu from NEET.

As the students squatted on the campus, police (who are not supposed to enter the campus) arrived there and urged them to disperse.

However, the students raised slogans for some time and dispersed after paying silent tribute to Anitha for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, advocates here have decided to boycott the court proceedings for two days from tomorrow in protest against NEET.

The advocates will form human chain on Thursday and stage rail the next day in the city, Bar Association sources said.
