New hematology range introduced

Coimbatore : Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd, a leading Diagnostic Company, recently launched its international range of hematology analyzers. in the city as part of celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Backed by European R&D, the 3-Part Differential (3PD) to 5-Part Differential (5PD) fully automated hematology analyzers, reagents and controls were introduced for the first time to Indian market.
Transasia introduced the range recently at a function attended by over 150 senior pathologists, biochemists and laboratory technologists from reputed institutes, a company release said today.
U K Based Erba’s global product manager Dr.Dimitris Giantzoudis and Dr. Avi Nahar, Head of Hematology at Transasia, introduced the instruments to doctors and provided scientific insights.
Anil Jotwani, Senior Advisor, Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd. said that the range introduced in India is comparable to the best globally and it was a proud moment for Transasia, as it coincided with the completion of Transasia’s 40th anniversary celebration.
The next-generation instruments include a number of features to help institutions, clinicians and laboratory technologists offer accurate diagnosis, he said.
