OPS gets additional portfolios

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam was given additional portfolios including Planning and Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
According to a communique from the Raj Bhavan, State Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, on the recommendations of Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami, allocated the portfolios of Planning, Legislative Assembly, Elections and Passports to Panneerselvam. The portfolios were earlier held by D. Jayakumar.
The Governor also re-designated Jayakumar as Minister for Fisheries, Personnel and Administrative Reforms.
On Monday, Panneerselvam was allocated the Finance portfolio held by him earlier, besides Housing, Rural Housing, Housing Development, Slum Clearance Board and Accommodation Control, Town Planning, Urban Development and Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority.
