Gold ornaments worth Rs.7 lakhs were burgled from the house of a jeweller in Selvapuram in Coimbatore today.

The burglary was noticed in the evening, after the jeweller, Satyanarayana, came home and saw the door broke open.

Besides ornaments, the burglars also decamped with Rs.45,000 cash. Police, along with finger print experts and sniffer dogs, have rushed to the spot and investigations are on.
