Over 700 students participate in art competition

More than 700 school students from Tamil Nadu and Kerala participated in a drawing competition named Chitram, conducted by Sasi College of Architecture at Myleripalayam on Tuesday.

Junior category students from classes 6 to 8 worked on the theme of Indian festivals. While senior category students from classes 9 to 12 participated in fabric painting.

P Sarvesh from Lisieux Public School, Coimbatore, won the first prize in junior category. R Vishnu from PSG Sarvajana Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore, had won the first prize in senior category.

Bridget Shibu, operations manager of art gallery Art Houz, Coimbatore, gave away certificates and prizes.
