Para-Volleyball: Team trials and coaching session from Nov 20

The Paralympics Volleyball Federation of India (PVFI) is forming a PVFI- President XI Para-Volleyball national team with players across India for the forthcoming Federation Cup 2017 to be held at Jaipur next month.

The coaching camp and selection trials for the team will be held from November 20 to 25 at Kumaraguru College of Technology here.

The selected team will participate in the Federation Cup beginning on December 15 and also in future International tournaments, a college release said on Saturday.

PVFI is a focused committee and working on to uplift the game for disabled in India and has 15 State associations affiliated to Indian Federation.

The PVFI teams have participated in Asia Cup conducted by Para Volleyball Asian Oceania, World Cup 2008-09 at Cambodia, World Championship 2010-11 at USA and won silver Medal in Beach Volleyball 2011 at Germany.

The camp will be inaugurated by College Joint Correspondent Shankar Vanavarayar.
