Ooty : The District Court here on Saturday posted both Kodanad murder and heist case, and bail for two accused to February eight, even as one of the accused who linked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister with the case filed a petition to confess before the court.

The Judge P Vadamalai has ordered to produce all the 10 accused in the murder case this morning. However, one of the accused failed to appear and the court adjourned the case for February eight and asked all the accused to appear on that date.

As the arguments from both the sides, with the regard to the petition filed by the State government to cancel the bail granted to two accused-Sayan and Manoj, who had linked the murder and heist to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Edappadi Palanisamy in a video released by former Tehelka Editor Mathew Samuel, completed the judge reserved the order for February eight.

Meanwhile, Sayan filed a petition before the Court stating that he was willing to give a confessional statement on the entire episode and what transpired in the case.
