PFI collect flood relief material

Popular Front of India (PFI) collected materials to send to stranded people in Chennai and neighbouring districts including Cuddalore, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur on December 5 at Mettupalayam bus terminus.
More than 20 volunteers were involved in the campaign.
Mettupalayam Lorry Owners’ Association has arranged for the trucks to collect material from the people of Mettupalayam and surrounding areas. So far 12 tonnes of material, including bread, biscuits, water bottles, medicines, tooth paste, and bed sheets, have been collected.
