Members of the State Toddy Movement would tour all over Tamil Nadu urging the government to lift the ban on toddy.

Talking to reporters here, C. Nallasamy, the movement coordinator said the tour would be a game changer in their fight for the revocation of the ban.”We have been fighting for more than a decade. This time our voice would be heard in Chennai,” he added.

On local body elections he appealed to the election commission not to allow the political parties to contest on their symbols “as the local talent is getting marginalised.”

Alleging corruption in Aavin, Nallasamy said milk prices should be fixed by cattle owners but not by the government. “They know the reality. The government should accept their suggestions and consult them before taking a decision on prices.”

On the Cauvery issue, Nallasamy alleged that the Centre was not taking any steps to help Tamil Nadu.
