Police record actor’s statement

Police on Saturday recorded the statement of the female actor, who was abducted and attacked in a moving car in Kochi on February 17, over a complaint she had filed against Poonjar MLA P.C. George.
The actor told the Nedumbassery circle inspector that some of the statements made by the MLA showed her in bad light.
She had lodged a complaint with the Chief Minister against George accusing him of constantly making defamatory statements against her.
