Blitz 2024 opened today at Kumaraguru Campus with an inaugural session that set the tone for an exciting three-day event focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership. With the theme “Ignite Your Potential,” the event promises enriching panel discussions, networking opportunities, and inspirational speeches to foster growth and leadership in today’s dynamic business landscape.

The inaugural session began with a Welcome Address by Shankar Vanavarayar, Past National Chair of Young Indians, followed by the Context Setting by Vishnu Prabhakar, Chair of Yi Coimbatore, and an Introduction to Blitz by Ms. Vaishnavi Janani, Chair of Branding for Yi Coimbatore. Vishal Mehta, Regional Yi Chair, delivered a Special Address, emphasizing the significance of collaboration and innovation for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The session featured keynote addresses by G Abiruben, Managing Director of Ayyan Fireworks Factory Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Arvind V Karuppannan, Director of VKA Group of Companies, who shared their entrepreneurial journeys. Abiruben spoke on the evolution of the fireworks industry, with a focus on sustainability and India’s role as an export hub, while Mr. Karuppannan highlighted the impact of next-gen agricultural products on the future of farming.

A special highlight of the inaugural session was a Motivational Speech by Lt. Col. Biju E K, Administrative Commandant, on “Guardians of the Nation: Exploring Careers in Defence.” His speech encouraged students to integrate the values of discipline, resilience, and leadership from the Indian Army into their personal and professional lives.

Distinguished guests Kanishka Arumugam, Co-CEO, EKKI Pumps, Ms. Preetha Ganesh, Vice President, VELS Institutions and Maalica Ravikumar AK, Entrepreneur & Life Coach were also present at the inauguration, adding their voices to the opening discussions and setting the stage for the days ahead.

Blitz 2024 continues until September 27, 2024, with more panels, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities, ensuring that attendees leave not only inspired but also equipped with actionable insights and valuable connections.
