PSG Hospitals gets global quality certification

PSG Hospitals here was awarded Pharmacie de Qualite’ (PdQ), an international certification for quality pharmacy management.
Bureau Veritas (India), a certification business initiative, evaluated the pharmacy management of PSG Hospitals and awarded the Pharmacie de Qualite’ (PdQ) certification with platinum grading. The certification was awarded to the teaching affiliate of PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research.
The areas of assessment were medical management, storage practices and inventory management, drug distribution and control, administrative control and responsible procurement and competency and collaboration.
PDQ standard certification is a joint initiative of Abbot Healthcare and Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification. Bureau Veritas designed standard requirements and certification criteria and also managed the certification processes.
