Quack arrested in sulur

A quack had been practicing Allopathy was arrested here on Thursday.
Based on a tip-off, Joint Director of Medical Services Dr M Chandrasekaran along with a team of officials conducted a surprise raid at the AVM clinic run by Muthukumar, 28 at Sulur in Pappampatty area in the city, conducted an enquiry and verified Muthukumar educational certificates.
According to police, The enquiry conducted by Joint Director of Medical Services and intimated to Indian Medical Association(IMA) to verify whether he is a doctor or not. IMA ascertained that he is quack. . Based on a complaint by Dr M Chandrasekaran the accused was arrested.
The accused was produced in court and remanded in jail.
