Rash driving kills 39-year-old man

A 39-year-old man from Vadavalli was killed on the spot near Saravanampatti here when his two-wheeler was hit by a lorry, on Monday.

According to the sources, Murugesan (39), a resident of Vadavalli, was riding on a two-wheeler near Saravanampatti. His vehicle was hit by a lorry which was being driven in a very rash and negligent manner.

Murugesan sustained serious injuries on his head and died on the spot. The police have registered a case against Ponnuarasu (31), the driver of the lorry.
