Authorities on Friday imposed restrictions for visitors to actor Dileep, who has been languishing in the Aluva sub-jail in the case related to the attack on a female actor. From now on only family members and important persons can visit Dileep.

The restriction follows complaints of large number of film personalities, including former Minister and actor K.B. Ganesh Kumar (who is an MLA) visiting him in the jail premises in the last few days. There have been allegations that the actor was enjoying special privileges and considerations.

On Friday authorities denied permission to eight persons who wanted to meet Dileep.
