The Rotaract Club of Saibaba Colony has proposed to conduct soft skill courses and vocational training to the students of the Thondamuthur Panchayat Union Middle School.

The project – Shiksha – part of the International Literacy Day celebrations, was inaugurated today.

In 2013 the Rotaract Club of Saibaba Colony adopted the Thondamuthur Panchayat Union Middle School. “Since then, our members have been supporting the school on various fronts. It was identified that the 140 students of this school can do better if trained in soft skills and grooming. We are getting together our team of volunteers and we will visit this school to train the students.” Sambath K, secretary, Rotaract Club of Saibaba Colony said.

Rotaract Club of Saibaba Colony is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore West. The former came into being 27 years ago currently has about 36 members.
