Rowdy detained under Goondas Act

Thanjavur: A 25-year-old rowdy element, named Abdul Aziz, son of Hasan, and resident of Nehru Nagar in Pattukottai, was detained under the Goondas Act, on the orders of District Collector Annadurai.
Based on the recommendations made by SP J Mahesh and relevant documents produced by Circle Inspector Singaravel of Pattukottai police station, District Collector Annadurai today ordered the detention of Abdul Aziz under Section 3(i) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982.
Subsequently, Abdul Aziz was lodged at the central prison in Trichy.
