Rowdy detained under Goondas Act

Thanjavur: District Collector A. Annadurai today ordered the detention of Vikram, son of Parthiban and resident of Theradi Street, Pattukottai, under the Goondas Act.
Based on the recommendations made by Superintendent of Police J. Mahesh and relevant documents produced by circle inspector K. Singaravel, the Collector ordered the detention of Vikram (28) under the Act. Subsequently, Vikram was lodged at the central prison in Tiruchi.
