Scholarship to board exam toppers by Fisheries Department

The Tamil Nadu Fisheries Department gave away provided scholarships worth Rs.17,600 and certificates to six students belonging to the fisherman community from Coimbatore who had scored high marks in X and XII board exams in 2014-2015.

S. Karthikeyan and S. Aruna, students of Plus-Two secured the highest marks in the district and received Rs.6000 as scholarships along with certificates.

Two students, S. Subash and P. Kiruthika of standard X, who secured first place received Rs.2000 as scholarship. N. Vaishali, who secured second place, received Rs.1000 and S. Bharathi received Rs.600 for securing the third place. All received certificates.
