School provides life skills training for teachers

The Stanes CBSE School organised a special life skills training programme for teachers today at their campus here.
Speaking at the programme, A Benjamin, Principal, said that life skills help enhance and develop the teaching ability of teachers.
“Life skills are competencies that help people function well in their environment. They are learnt in sequential steps related to a person’s age and developmental stage. They are acquired through ‘learn-by-doing’ activities,” he added.
Various activities were conducted for the teachers during the session to bring out the learning outcomes of the workshop.
