More than 24 hours have passed, but search operations continue to retrieve the body of the 17-year-old boy who fell into a well in G.V. Residency on Monday. Despite the involvement of various forces, there is still no clue.

Personnel from the Fire Service, Police Department, the Indian Navy and Army were deployed in the operation to retrieve the body of S. Harish, a Class XII student of the National Model School, who fell into the 120 feet deep well. He was reportedly attempting to take selfies while he fell, around 1 pm on Monday.

According to his friends, Harish did not know swimming, but had accompanied them to bathe in the well that day.

Unable to recover his body, the rescue personnel, who did not have the necessary equipment initially, were clueless. However, the search gained momentum after 5 waterproof cameras and thermal imagers were provided by private parties and other departments. Other equipment, including water suckers, crane, and backhoe loaders were also put into the search operation.

Despite going 25 feet deep into the well, no traces of the body were found by the rescue personnel. But, one of the persons involved in the operation claimed that body would be retrieved before 3 pm on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the owner of the well was upset with the water being emptied out of his well.

The police are also talking to the friends of Harish who were with him when the accident occurred.
