Septuagenarian killed in road accident

A septuagenarian from Ukkadam succumbed to his injuries after his motorcycle was hit by a minivan here on Wednesday.
According sources, the deceased K.T. Abdul Razzak (70) was residing near South Ukkadam. On Wednesday, he was riding a motorcycle, which was hit by a minivan around 9.00 AM. He sustained injuries.
He was later shifted to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital and died on Thursday. A case has been registered against A. Nizamuddin (40), the driver of the minivan.
