The Camford International School joined hands with Air Force Administrative College, Coimbatore, to organize a one day interactive session for the senior students of the school. A team of ten officers, headed by Group Captain S. A. Srivalsan, Course Commander, Advanced Professional Knowledge Course for Education, interacted with the senior students recently.

Also present throughout the programme was Beena, Principal, Air Force School. Chairman Arul Ramesh presided over the interactive session. Squadron Leader Sangita Paulraj shared her experiences with adventure sports and this was an eye opener for the young minds. She educated the students about sky diving and scuba diving. She also educated the young minds about the various career options that are available to them in the field of adventure sports.

Squadron Leader Shahul Hameed and Squadron Leader Shyam Sundar emphasized the importance of clearing the National Defence Academy (NDA) test, followed by the interview by Staff Selection Board (SSB).They brought to light that students can enrol into the wing shortly after their grade 12 examinations, provided they had Physics and Mathematics as the core subject. They also told the students present there they can enrol even after their graduation provided they have a minimum of 60 per cent marks.

Group Captain S A Srivalsan pointed out that there was an ocean of career opportunity available for girls too. The session cleared the doubts of the students about the career opportunities in the Indian Air Force. This interactive session also broke the ice between students and the Air Force Officers.

Principal S G Kavita expressed her gratitude to the Air Force Officers for interacting with the young minds. She encouraged and motivated her students to consider serving the nation by joining the Indian Air Force.
