Shri P K Das Memorial Best Teacher & Lifetime Achievement Award – 2024 was organized on 10.02.2024 by Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous) at P K Das Memorial Auditorium, Nehru Garden Tirumalayam Palayam.

Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous) welcomed the chief guest and the award winners. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions presided over the award ceremony.

Rev. Fr. Thomas Thotungal, Correspondent, Vishwadeepti Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pollachi was the chief guest. G.K Vijayalakshmi, Headmistress, Govt. High school Peelamedu, Coimbatore was the special guest. NGI Executive Director Dr. H.N. Nagaraja delivered the Key note address. All congratulated the award winners and their families.

In his address, he emphasized the purpose and possibility for teachers to improve their knowledge. The chief guest lauded the great vision of the founder chairman late P.K Das and his strong will to start educational institutions and he emphasized that everyone should get darshan from the greats.

70 teachers from Tamil Nadu and Kerala were presented with Shri P K Das Best Teacher Award, 03 Principals were presented with Best Principal Award and Dr. R. Senthamil Selvi, Headmistress, Govt. Higher Secondary School, Nallampalli, Dharmapuri was presented with Lifetime Achievement Award at the function.

Dr. P. Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions felicitated the awardees and requested them to try to remain consistent throughout their endeavours. The coordinator of the program Dr. R. Malathi, delivered vote of thanks.
