SITRA signs MoU with Bharathiar University

Bharathiar University’s Department of Textiles and Apparel Design, and South India Textile Research Association (SITRA) Power Loom Centre, Palladam, Tirupur district, have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The Registrar of the University, Dr. K.G. Senthilvasan, and Senior Officer of SITRA Power Loom Centre signed the agreement.
According to the University press release, the MoU paves way for various activities like students’ research, computer applications in textiles, imparting practical knowledge and development of self-employment. As part of the agreement, seminars, conferences and other joint activities will be conducted for the students.
