The Airports Authority of India in a tie up with ITC has set up a smokers’ parlour, a facility for smokers among air travellers to sit and smoke in Trichy International Airport.
Airport Director K Gunasekaran inaugurated the facility, which can be used by 20 people at one time, in the airport premises.
Trichy International Airport handles a large volume of air passengers, as direct flights operate to Singapore, Colombo, Malaysia and Gulf countries.
