SNR Trust sends team to flood-hit Chennai

Trucks loaded with relief materials were dispatched to Chennai by SNR Sons Charitable Trust on Saturday.

Food essentials, bakery products, medicines, water bottles, and apparels weighing around 17 tons were collected by the students and staff of educational and medical institutions under the SNR Sons Charitable Trust. They will be distributed to victims in the flood hit regions of Chennai.

Apart from relief material, SNR Sons Charitable Trust has also sent its team of doctors and medical staff to assist the victims who need medical attention. The team of professionals is at Meenakshi College and is scheduled to stay in Chennai for one week.

SNR Sons Charitable Trust has also sent its team of National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers to help in the rescue operations.
