Special prayer for rains

A group of people, the majority of them Muslims, today offered a special prayer in the city for rains.
As almost the whole of Tamil Nadu was reeling under a drought-like condition following the failure of monsoons, the Popular Front of India has organised the special prayer for rains.
Accordingly, nearly 200 persons joined the special 20 minute-prayer session.
