The poll campaign this time too for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections will not lack star appeal. Film stars, television artistes and noted singers will be part of the Party fraternity when the State-wide campaign will begin in earnest.

While Kushboo and Nagma will be the faces of Congress, the AIADMK will have Vindhya and comedians Senthil, Gundu Kalyanam and Singamuthu. Ponnambalam and Anandraj, who joined ADMK, will also campaign.

Vagai Chandrasekhar, television anchor Imman Annachi, Kumari Muthu, Vasu Vikram and Poochi Murugan, will campaign for DMK.

Veteran filmmaker Visu, who joined the BJP recently, is said to make a tour of the State to popularise the welfare measures of the NDA government. Music director Gangai Amaran and Gayathiri Raghuram are also expected to join the campaign trail.

The South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce has expressed its support to the AIADMK. It has produced a music album titled “Ammavin Paamalai” (songs on achievements of Jayalalithaa government), that was released by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa herself.
