Startup – ULA to encourage creation of 5000 new startups in TN

Startup-ULA – ‘learning on wheels’ is a programme initiated by EDII, Government of Tamil Nadu to promote startup ecosystem and encourage new startups in line with the Tamil Nadu Startup and innovation policy for the creation of 5000 new Startups in Tamilnadu for the next five years.

The StartUp-ULA journey was flagged off by G. Karthikeyan, GK Management Systems (USA and Coimbatore). Around 30 participants along with on board journey mentors from EDII and Founder Passion Foundation -Coimbatore started its journey from GandhiPuram, last week

The campaign’s objective is to prepare the aspiring entrepreneurs on the opportunities and challenges in the journey of entrepreneurship. ULA will travel through the cities of Coimbatore, Erode, Salem and Chennai.

Successful business icons in various industries will be giving motivational speeches and tutoring sessions to aspiring entrepreuneurs , in the course of the journey. The participants are scheduled to visit various enterprises throughout their journey in the field of Manufacturing, Agriculture, Agri-tech and relevant industries.

The StartUp-ULA is believed to act as a guiding light for entrepreneurs to understand the nuances and difficulties in running an enterprise.
