Student sisters seek arms license for self protection

Coimbatore : In the backdrop of the sensational Pollachi sexual harassment racket, two sisters in the city on Saturday sought the district administration to provide arms license for self protection.

The girls, hailing from Nalliyampalayam submitted the petition to collector and sought the license so that they can protect themselves during any eventualities.

Oviya and Tamil Eeelam, one college student and another studying in school, wanted to award strongest punishment for those involved in such crimes and also requested the Cyber Crime Cell to take steps to delete visuals being forwarded by the people.
