Swachh Bharat Mission: Covai in 16th place

Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation has climbed from 197th place to 16th place in the country in the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission, Corporation Commissioner Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan said on Saturday.
“It is my aim to make it number one city in this front,” he said while presenting a ranking to KG Hospital, for being adjudged number one health care provider in the city for its contribution towards the implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission.
“The ranking was given by the Corporation after having done the Swachhata Ranking-2018 assessment in respect of above 100-bedded multi-specialty hospitals,” he said.
The certificate of appreciation was received by the hospital Chairman Dr. G. Bakthavathsalam.
“I am too happy to receive the appreciation certificate. From inception, KG Hospital has been keeping its premises neat and clean,because such a work culture has been ingrained in all categories of employees,” Bakthavathsalam said.
