Three elderly persons die after casting votes

Coimbatore : Three senior citizens died after exercising their franchise for the 17th Lok Sabha elections- one each in Coimbatore, Erode and Salem districts of Tamil Nadu on Thursday.
    
According to police, Balakrishnan of this  city swooned after coming out of the booth at Gandhimanagar. As he was taken to a nearby Hospital, he died on the way, they said.
    
Similarly, one Murugesan collapsed and breathed his last at the booth in Sivagiri in Erode, they said.
   
In another incident, Krishnan also died after casting his vote in a booth Vedapatti in Salem distict.
    
All were in their mid-sixties, police added
