Three employees of GRT jewellery symptomatic

Coimbatore : Three employees of a leading jewellery in the city, which was sealed yesterday, are symptomatic for Covid-19 and moved to the hospital.
The GRT Jewellers on Cross Cut Road was sealed for bringing over.30 employees from Chennai without mandatory E-pass and said to have more than stipulated staff allowed during lock down period.
Nearly 100 persons in the jewellery were subjected to test for the infection and three employees tested positive, health department sources said.
A case has been registered against the management under Disaster Management Act and Tamil Nadu Epidemic Disease Act.
Meanwhile the department is taking efforts to collect the data of those customers who visited the shop for the last two days.
