Three two-wheeler stolen, one recovered

Three two-wheelers worth Rs 2.4 lakh were stolen from different parts of the city and police succeeded in recovering one of them worth Rs1.3 lakh during vehicle-checking yesterday.

According to police, Gokularaj of Tiruvalluvar Nagar had parked his Yamaha bike near a private complex on Telugu Street. When Gokulraj returned, he found the vehicke missing.

In another incident, Jevin Singh of Papanaicken Palayam parked his Bajaj Pulsar bike near Venugopal Layout and later found it was not there.

Govindraj of Sowripalayam had filed a complaint that his bike was stolen on August 19. This was traced during the routine vehicle checking and three persons, Naveen, Manoarjith and Sriram Kumar, were arrested and remanded in custody.
