Thulasidharan elected CITI Chairman

City-based Rajaratna Group of Mills Managing Director J Thulasidharan has been elected as Chairman of Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI).

Chairman of Sri Mahasakthi Mills in Kerala T Rajkumar will be Deputy Chairman, according to a statement from Southern India Mills’ Association (SIMA). Both Thulasidharan and Rajkumar had served as SIMA chairmen.

CITI is the apex body representing the entire textile industry in the country. Sanjay K Jain is the confederation Vice-Chairman. He is Managing Director of TT Ltd, a vertically integrated textiles company (fibre-to-fashion) having its manufacturing units in various States. Jain is also Chairman of North India Textile Research Association.
