The fishermen issue and rehabilitation of the Sri Lankan Tamils are some of the most important issues in the manifesto released by the Tamil Maanila Congress president G.K. Vasan today, at the party headquarters in Teynampet.

Blaming the DMK and the AIADMK for the halt in the developmental activities in the state, Vasan said that only a PWF-led government can restore growth in Tamil Nadu. TMC intends to give priority to education, agriculture, and restoring the powers of the police department.

Warning that action will be taken against the culprits who were behind the attack on the DMDK office, the TMC chief also asked the Election Commission to observe the election campaigns of the AIADMK, “where people are dying.”
