A meeting of the Chambers of Commerce of Tamil Nadu to be held here on November 19 will discuss the problems that are being faced in the state, such as shortage of power and availability of committed labour among others.

Attributing this problem to many not taking up any expansion or new ventures in Tamil Nadu, the meeting will be an occasion to bring together all the Chambers to harness the collective strength to bring about progress and prosperity to the region, president of local chapter, Vanitha Mohan said.

Nearly 15 to 19 Chambers of Commerce from different parts of the state are taking part to discuss the issues confronting the industries at the event titled ‘Coming Together,’ she said.

The aim is to see what industries can do and how can they work with the Government to make the state an attractive destination again for the manufacturing sector and other business, she added.
