TNAU to observe Farmers Day on January 8

The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will observe January 8 as Farmer’s Day, with a special exhibition on the latest varieties of agricultural crops and innovations in farming. About 5,000 farmers are expected to turn up at the exhibition.

Agriculture-based entrepreneurs, private firms, and farming-oriented business will also showcase their products and commodities in 50 indoor and 10 outdoor stalls on January 8.

Also, awards will be given to outstanding farmers for their contribution to agriculture and allied sectors.
