Traffic diversion for Pollachi-bound vehicles on Friday

In view of the Aravaan koil festival on Friday (November 18), the city police have made alternative traffic arrangements for inbound and outbound buses and heavy vehicles from Pollachi.
As per a release issued by the Commissioner of Police, the outbound buses for Pollachi leaving from Ukkadam bus station and heavy vehicles are directed to use Athupalam – Pothanur market – Railway marriage hall – Tomato market before reaching Pollachi road.
While the inbound traffic from Pollachi will need to follow the route of Eechanery Mahalakshmi junction – Madukarai market road – Suganapuram before reaching Palghat road and Ukkadam bus stand. Light commercial vehicles and two-wheelers are advised to take the route of LIC colony junction – Madukarai market – Maachanpalayam before reaching Palghat road.
This arrangement would be in place between 11 am and 2 pm on Friday.
