Traffic diversion on September 30

The city traffic police have announced traffic diversions in view of the processions from Sri Ramalinga Sowdambikai Amman temple in Raja Street and Sri Ramalinga Soudeshwari Puthusoudamman Temple in R.G. Street on September 30.
The procession of the Sri Ramalinga Sowdambikai Amman Temple will begin at 5.30 a.m. from Ramachandra Road in R.S. Puram and is expected to end at 9 a.m. at the temple.

Vehicles coming from Sukuwarpettai to Poo Market will have to take the Gandhi Park, D.B. Road, Cowly Brown Road to reach Mettupalayam Road. Also, vehicles coming to Sukuwarpettai from Old Flyover will have to divert from Marakadai Junction to reach Gandhi Park via Vaishal Street, Salivan Street and divert from there. Vehicles coming towards Oppanakara Street from Ukkadam will have to take Chungam Road to reach the railway station via Classic Towers and divert from there.

The second procession will start at 7.30 a.m. at Handloom Colony in Sai Baba Colony and terminate at 11 a.m. at R.G. Street. Vehicles from the NSR road and ARC junction towards North Coimbatore will have to go via Sivanandha Colony and divert from there to respective locations, the traffic police said.
