Transport staff hold demonstration, plan hunger strike tomorrow

Nearly 700 staff of TNSTC today staged a demonstration near the office of Labour Department as part of their indefinite strike for wage revision and arrears entered the seventh day.

The workers assembled on the pathway to the department office and raised slogans in support of their demands.

The striking employees decided to observe a one-day fast tomorrow,AITUC sources said.
