TV anchor commits suicide while on Skype with boy friend

A former journalist and TV anchor kills herself allegedly after a spat with her Canadian boy friend during a Skype video call. The body has been shifted to Gandhi hospital for further investigation.
Nirosha Chowdhary, a 23-year-old Gemini Music anchor, was on a Skype call talking to her boyfriend Ritwik, in Canada, when she hung herself at her PG hostel, in Secunderabad.
She was earlier a reporter Telugu channels before she took to acting. She was from Chittoor and was working with Gemini Music as an entertainment anchor for past few months. She is the daughter of K. Radhakrishna and her parents live in Somala Mandal in Chittoor disctrict.
It is said that, she was having a disagreement with her friend, as they were on a Skype call. Nirosha was upset on some issue and hung herself.
Soon after, her friend called the local police and asked them to save her, but by the time the police reached she was already dead.
A case has been registered under Section 174 of IPC. The body has been shifted to Gandhi hospital for further investigation. Police is to enquire and report on suicide.
Nirosha was known to be a dedicated and brave reporter. The news of her suicide is terribly shocking said the people who know her.
