TVS market share to touch 16% next year

TVS is confident that it will win a market share of 16 percent in the two-wheeler segment in 2017, with a monthly target of 25,000 new TVS Victor motorcycles. The company currently enjoys a 14 percent share, countrywide.
According to J.S. Srinivasan, Vice-President, Sales and Service, TVS Motor Company, the market share in Tamil Nadu, which is at present 31 percent, is also likely to touch 35 percent in another year. He was interacting with the news reporters after the launch of the new vehicle.
TVS is also expected to increase the sales offrom the present 65,000 to 75,000 per month from the next fiscal, he said.
Revealing that the company has witnessed 30 percent growth in the last two years against the industry average of 10 to 12 percent, Srinivasan said that the company will achieve 10 percent growth compared to the two percent industry growth.
